Keeping an Unlicensed Pet Cats Is Now an Offence
Singapore’s two-year transition period ended on 31 August. All pet cats must now be microchipped and licensed; keeping an unlicensed cat became an offence on 1 September. New licence fees and limits on the number of cats and dogs kept in homes have also taken effect.
