Nine Dogs Seized From Suspected Illegal Breeding Property in Bogotá
Authorities in Bogotá have taken nine Pinscher dogs into protective custody following a complaint concerning suspected abandonment at a property in the Mandalay neighbourhood of Kennedy.
Police attended with veterinary personnel from the District Institute for Animal Protection and Welfare (IDPYBA).
Inspectors reportedly found that the dogs had restricted movement, unsuitable shelter and no supporting records of veterinary care or vaccinations. Two female dogs were pregnant.

Veterinary inspectors issued an unfavourable welfare assessment, prompting the preventive seizure of all nine surviving dogs.
The animals remain under the protection of IDPYBA while the authorities investigate the circumstances and determine any further action.
