It's people's attitudes and teachings in different countries that has to be the focus and will local government allow outsiders to go in classrooms and put forward a different perspective

In one of the areas we work in the shelter manager is able to go in to the local schools & talk about stray dogs. The children also visit the shelter & visit the dogs. Quite a few adoptions happened that way. It's a definite gamechanger

That is great news and hopefully 😁 local supporters can engage more as well

The authorities do not care so it's pass the buck and hope someone deals with the situation. In different cultures people are raised with different views about animals, and it's outsiders who try and help animals.

We've noticed a lot more arrests & successful prosecutions recently though due to advocacy in Turkey & us all doing our bit to help. I have a good feeling David as long as we are all able to continue raising our voices. Thank you for being part of the change
