This situation is a example of what happens when laws are drafted from a desk, without taking experts on the subject into consideration and without planning a proper implementation in real life. Approving a law like this, without giving shelters the necessary resources, without training personnel in animal welfare, and without establishing transparency mechanisms, only moves the problem elsewhere and hides it.The most serious part is that, instead of leaning on the organizations and volunteers who have been doing the work for years, they decide to ban and silence them.

When transparency is lost, crises are not resolved; quite the contrary, it only increases legitimate suspicions about the fate of these animals and makes it more than clear that welfare was never the true priority of this reform.

Appalling! Makes me sick to think what those poor animals are subjected to and it needn’t be that way. This is a Choice to inflict cruelty and stoke hate.
