Our saddest rescue to date
Morris was discovered in heart breaking circumstances.

Morris was painfully thin, his ribs were sticking out as were his hip bones, his eyes sunken and hollow
He was such a sad sight, the kind that tugged at your heartstrings and made you wonder about his story

Despite his appearance, there was a quiet strength about him, a resilience that shone through the weariness.
Morris's condition was distressing.
His leg told a tragic story, twisted beyond normalcy with a painful laceration just above the ankle.
It was clear to us that he had endured broken bones that had improperly healed without medical attention.

After getting Morris off the chain, we took him straight to our vet, who confirmed our suspicions regarding the breaks in his leg.
Sadly, he also tested positive for heartworm and ehrlichiosis.
This news was heart breaking, as we thought about his suffering.
We were committed to providing him with the best care possible to help him heal and regain his strength. With proper treatment and plenty of love, he would be back on
