That is why we are delighted to announce that Doris Banham Dog Rescue are the recipients of our Death Row Dogs Grant.
A Shared Philosophy: No Dog Left Behind
Just like us, Doris Banham Dog Rescue refuse to write off any dog. To them, there is no such thing as a dog that is too difficult to place, too hard to rehabilitate, too costly to treat, or not “cute enough” to deserve saving. Their philosophy is simple and powerful:
Everybody gets a chance—no exceptions.
This uncompromising attitude is what makes their work so vital. In a world where dogs are too often judged on convenience, appearance, or cost, Doris Banham stand firm in their belief that every life is worth fighting for.
Saving the Forgotten Ones
The dogs Doris Banham take in are not simply strays looking for a new home. These are the forgotten souls—dogs who end up in council pounds through no fault of their own, but simply because of misfortune and circumstance. They are dogs who have been discarded, unwanted, and abandoned, left with little hope of survival.
Without Doris Banham Dog Rescue, the vast majority of these dogs would face certain death. With them, they are given not only safety and care, but also love, dignity, and the chance to start again.

Standing Together for the Dogs
We are proud to stand alongside Doris Banham Dog Rescue in the fight to save dogs that others have given up on. Their tireless work means that dogs on the brink of death are not only saved but are given a chance to know love, family, and home again.
Our grant will provide 91 days of emergency boarding for dogs who would otherwise not survive their circumstances beyond 7 days.
By awarding them this grant, we are not only supporting their efforts but also reinforcing a shared mission: to ensure that no dog is forgotten, overlooked, or left behind.
